Light TN is a family-owned landscape lighting designer in Burns, Tennessee, and was among the first to install permanent roofline systems in the Nashville market. As a BlueHopper / Inception certified installer, the studio integrates the track cleanly into the architecture, to licensed contractor CE-D: 76580 standards, backed by manufacturer warranties and a one-year workmanship warranty.

Light TN quotes permanent roofline lighting after an on-site assessment, based on the length of roofline and installation complexity. Interior square footage alone does not define the roofline being lit. The useful comparison is the proposed coverage and design: which eaves and gables are included, how the track integrates with the trim, and the control system specified. Our design consultation is free. Under our published terms, projects over $10,000 require a 15% deposit; smaller projects require no deposit.
The result depends on the design: visible hardware, excessive brightness and busy effects create a different appearance from concealed track and restrained warm white. Light TN integrates the track into the soffit or fascia and treats warm white as the everyday architectural setting. Color is available without being the default. Permanent lights commit you to installed hardware, a control platform and future service rather than a display you pack away. The quote should make the mounting method, equipment and warranty clear. Roof or gutter work may also require the lighting track to be removed and reinstalled; let Light TN know before that work starts so we can coordinate with your contractor. A long LED-life rating does not mean every component is maintenance-free. Light TN publishes a one-year workmanship warranty, with manufacturer coverage governed by the specified equipment and its terms.
There is no single guaranteed number of years for an entire permanent-lighting system. BlueHopper describes its roofline LEDs as tested for approximately 50,000 operating hours. For perspective, 50,000 hours divided by six hours a night is about 23 years; that is a calculation, not a prediction or warranty. Controllers, power supplies and track have separate coverage. Check the exact equipment and warranty in your proposal. Light TN’s published workmanship warranty is one year.
The running cost depends on the specified system’s power draw, your lighting schedule and your electricity rate. BlueHopper uses LED technology designed for lower power consumption than incandescent lighting, but that does not establish a monthly bill for your property. To estimate it, multiply input watts by nightly hours and days used, divide by 1,000, then multiply by your price per kilowatt-hour. Use the equipment specified in your quote for that calculation. Scheduling lets you choose when the roofline runs.
A permanent LED system needs an electrical supply as well as a controller; the app does not power the lights. For example, BlueHopper’s published 24-volt power supply converts AC power to DC for its outdoor LED system. That is a manufacturer component specification, not a statement that every Light TN project uses the same supply. The design should identify the actual power supply, controller and wiring route before installation. Light TN specifies the track, housing and control platform around the property during planning.
